Beaded Project

So I love a good creative competition, and just so happened to have one in September at our Zumba Class here in Coronado. you are probably thinking Zumba, crafts and beads? huh? Well, our instructor Darcy challenged us to get creative and write down our goals for the end of the year and who ever made the best sign/display would win a Zumba Shirt!!! So this is a picture of the winning sign...I won, I won :) and got the Zumba Shirt! And don't ask about the goals, I'm still working on those :))) lol

recent creations

I just made this for my girlfriends 2 year old daughter Ashley, it was a birthday present.

This is a turquoise pendant that my mother gave me to reuse, and that's exactly what I did! A gal in Washington picked it up quick. I think it came out real nice and bold.

I was in the beach chic mood when I created this one. I am currently in this mood often, as I am redecorating my house here by the beach in all kinds of fun beach chic decor.

just experimenting with these...Simple and lovely.

This is a new design and technique for me, I've never been a sewer(is that a word?) maybe I should say I've never been one that sews, anywho, and now trying to sew beads, I apparently have a hard time sewing beads too, but I'm hopeful and with time should get better.
